Team Okie

Through a suggestion from one of my best friends, Bryce Villa, Team Okie is now recruiting members! This isn't any kind of organized team or anything like that, but more of a way that I can pay homage to all the people who make my life fun. Bryce having come up with the idea will be the first member, but anyone can join (even if I've never met you before in my life). The only requirements for membership are that you provide a picture (if I don't have access to one) and allow me to ask you a few questions so I can write up some kind of bio for you on the site. I hope that, at some point, it will get so big that I have to turn people away, but for the time being anyone who applies will likely get in. Don't be shy, join team Okie today!

Bryce Villa

Bryce Villa was a teammate of mine on the Jamestown College wrestling team for over 3 years. For the first two years we were at the same weight (125) and wrestled each other nearly every day in practice. Over this time we became friends if for no other reason then we both knew how infuriating it was to wrestle against the other one. Bryce still wrestles 125 (I guess that Vitamin S aint working, huh?) and will graduate this year with me (2 wrestlers graduating in 4 years, what are the odds?). Bryce and I have almost come to blows many times, but we both know we got each others back when it comes down to it. When it comes to friends that you can count on no matter what, they don't get much better (or much more entertaining) then Bryce.

Tony Layson, Jr.

Tony Freakin Layson! The man has emailed me not once, but twice trying to make team Okie! That shows commitment and dedication to the cause and for that hes in! Tony is another one of my former teammates on the JC wrestling team. Tony and I have been through some crazy stuff and even roomed together for a semester until he abandoned me for a private RA pad. I aint mad at him though. Tony's one of those guys that you can't be mad at because hes just way to funny for that. He's always good to have around, even if he won't drink with us (so he might die? big deal!). All you really need to know about him is that he tells everyone that will listen to stay out of Wyoming so he can live there with as few people around as possible. I think he'd enjoy living there with no more then a chain saw and his fiancee Mindy if he could get away with it.
